Sohra Government College intends to capitalize on the fast pace development of IT Technology, thereby bring ICT to classrooms because of the potential to share information  to studens and teachers alike, this along with the conventional class room lectures will enhance the learning campacity of the students of the college. The usefulness of ICT in education cannot be overstated; And the learning process to the millennia students will be more adaptable with the use of ICT.

The College therefore has laid the groundwork to enhance its ICT infrastructure and to sensitize its teaching community’s ICT skill. Orientation programmes are conducted for teacher in the use of ICT from time to time. The IT policy of the college is in place and more assets are being procured to meet the requirements of the students and teaching community. The Library with its Library Management Software ensures that the Library resources are made available to the college community. Access to e-resources is completely dependent on the sufficiency of ICT equipments in the Campus.
